Triton Single-Layer Stormwater Chamber System
Triton Stormwater Chambers are less expensive, quicker and easier to install than other types of underground stormwater chamber systems. The side-portal feed provides greater flexibility in engineering and hydraulic design, eliminating circuitous routing of feed pipes from inlet structures to entry point of a header pipe. Triton Stormwater Chambers may also be used in place of corrugated metal, or HDPE pipe for stormwater conveyance comparable to a 48-inch diameter pipe, with the added benefit of infiltration and water quality enhancement.
Triton Stormwater Chambers are designed as an underground stormwater retention or detention chamber which also facilitates sediment management. The top portal provides an identified area to cut out for placement of up to a 33” PVC riser or manhole for easy access to accumulated sediment deposits that are residing in the sump basin assembly. Vacuum trucks are used to remove sediment deposits and their associated nutrient, pollutant and debris components.
